FINALLY, IOWA IS 'OVER'...

I'm not so sure the whole debacle will prove meaningful in any way whatsoever, but finally we don't have to listen any more to 'Who's Ahead in the Iowa polls'.  It's over and the Repub version of President Unicorn won.  But Hey, it was close and when you consider what he spent to get there, you have to wonder about his fuel mileage.  Obviously, his money gas tank is larger than everyone else's, but the return on his expended dollar isn't near what was seen by his opponents.

Which tells me he really isn't all that popular with that particular tribe of voters.

This last social exercise in Iowa means nothing, but TAM said it best this morning on screen and privately at the blog meet last weekend; IF you vote for President Unicorn, you're voting for a guy who hates guns and loves socialized medicine, but if you vote for the Mormon from Massachusetts, you're voting for a guy who loves socialized medicine and hates guns.

Romney is a gift to President Unicorn and the Democrats know it.

As for everyone else in the Republican hoe-down, would you quit rearranging those Titanic deck chairs over who sleeps with whom and what they're doing while they're doing it?  (If they're adults and it's by mutual consent, leave 'em alone.)  Could someone pleeeeeze focus on some national money matters?  Over intrusive government functions, certain aspects of our daily life concerning the Constitution and various multi-national enterprises that are well on their way to becoming unregulated monopolies????

Pleeezzzeee???

I know it's a waste of time to ask Republicans to focus on badly behaving private enterprises, but still I will keep to my own private illusions.  Just like some believe the recent events in Iowa actually meant something....

All The Best,
Frank W. James
