I was going to spend most of the day, today, mowing, but that came to a screeching halt when the highly valued 'GrassHopper' mower broke! The right control arm don't work no mo. Took it down the road and had to leave at the shop. Bummer.
It's a Bummer of a day any way because tonight the county fair starts and my wife and I will be giving away a scholarship in Valerie's name. Memory wise it's a tough place to go. I wanted to be doing something physical today, all day, instead being back here in the office.
So for right now I'm going to finish the last of three articles I promised New York. They are supposed to be in New York on Monday.
Later...
All The Best,

Good luck with the mower. I know the scholarship winner will be grateful and I hope your largess comes back to heal the wounds.
My mower broke this weekend too. She just didn't have the energy to get out there and ride this weekend.
My wife is my mower. I pay her to do it so I can go shooting on the weekend. She got lazy on me this weekend.
I on the other hand got lucky and picked up a sweet old US Army 1917 Colt revolver. It appears to be all original and the holster seems to be period correct as well.
I'm still happy about that. The old fellow that sold it to me let me have it for $400. I asked him was he sure he didn't want more but he said no, he'd had it for most of his life and just wanted it to have a good home.
Apparently his health has been poor lately so he is moving in with one of his daughters and she does not allow guns in her house.
I told him anytime he wanted to go shooting to give me a call and I'd come get him and supply a gun and ammo for him to shoot free of charge.
I'm going to have to talk to my woman about that grass getting mowed though.
:-)
Joe
