I see by the news this morning that the nutjob who won the rigged Iranian election is calling the death of the Neda girl "suspicious", and much of his case is based on hearsay 'evidence' from Mexico's ambassador to Iran. Mexico's Iranian ambassador speculates it was the work of the CIA.
Right.
With 'friends' like Mexico, who needs enemies like Iran?
I'm slowly coming to the conclusion after listening to all the balderdash out of Washington DC and elsewhere that I'm neither a liberal or a conservative in terms of my political slant. I would opt for the term Libertarian, but I'm not sure that is safe either.
So far I haven't seen anything that warms the cockles of my heart in terms of present political philosophy from anyone on either spectrum. I don't believe we should be intervening in Iran, or Honduras for that matter. We seem to have done too much of that already over the past eight years or so, but with North Korea getting ready to bomb Hawaii and this nutjob and his rigged election in Iran, I take great offense at the comments from Mexico's ambassador to Iran.
With the national economic situation presently in the state of affairs that it is, I think it would be extremely prudent for Congress to re-examine all of our foreign air arrangements as opposed to say, enslaving future generations with increased taxes under the guise of 'Cap and Trade' international treaties and bills.
You know some days I think the world is getting loonier by the minute as opposed to intelligent and more reasonable.
Maybe I'm becoming an isolationist?

No Frank, you're just getting as fed up as the rest of us are...
WV-putons
Some days I want to dig a basement so I have somewhere to huddle, clutching a baseball bat and eating cold beans out of the can. The only thing stopping me is my lack of a yard.
Do you think the Basement Dwellers could catch on as a political party? Or would we be overrun by confused Galactica fans?
Fank,
Welcome, I have been an isolationist for many years. My flag would be the old Revolutionary War Flag, Don't Tread on me. I would be more than happy if our government would just leave the other countries alone. Let charities take care of foreign aid and keep our tax dollars here t home.
The version I heard was that it was Iran's ambassador to Mexico that claimed the CIA did it.
And the dog ate their homework.
As Tamara--I think--pointed out the other day, if the Iranians want to know what it's like when we interfere in others' internal affairs, they only need to get a Ouija Board and ask Saddam--not that I think His Imperial Majesty BHO I has the balls to even think about it.
WV: patsyled. No kidding. Does that sum up our situation or what?
Maybe the music isn't what you want to dance to, and you are very comfortable being very much you and the heck with that motley crew dancing to music you can't even hear and wouldn't appreciate if you did.
I ride more miles on motorcycle alone and happier than those in packs, and I have room to sash-shay in the lane alone... imagine that.
Not isolationist Frank. You just remain a realist, the most minor party there is.
A realist and a delightfully cross-grained fellow, unafraid to come to his own conclusions. It warms my heart!
